Meet CEO Donna Lemon
D. Lemon’s Savory Seafood Pizza was founded by Donna Lemon in 2023, born from a passion for two of life’s greatest pleasures: seafood and pizza. The mission was simple—to bring both together in one incredible dish. The inspiration came years ago after Donna ordered a seafood pizza at a local restaurant in Atlanta. Excited but ultimately disappointed by the flavor, she walked away with an idea: what if this could be done better? As someone who loves to cook and transform ordinary dishes into unforgettable meals, Donna took that challenge into her own kitchen. She began experimenting, and soon she had created a seafood pizza that friends, family—and even kids—absolutely loved.Over the years, Donna perfected her recipe, making it again and again, and never once had someone say they didn’t like it. That encouragement led her to something bigger. As time went on, Donna’s circle of friends grew to include vegans and vegetarians. Never one to back down from a challenge, she developed a completely plant-based pizza that quickly became a hit—not just with vegans, but with everyone who tried it. Her ability to craft pizzas for all tastes showed her that this dream had real potential.Though Donna had always dreamed of owning a business, she wasn’t quite sure what direction to take—until one of her longtime friends said, “You should sell your pizzas.” People had mentioned it before, but this time it resonated. It wasn’t just about the taste—it was about how the pizza made people feel.Launching D. Lemon’s Savory Seafood Pizza has become more than just a business—it’s a path toward financial independence, personal fulfillment, and a way to give back to those who have inspired and supported her along the way.Today, Donna continues to grow her menu and her mission, one delicious slice at a time. Her ultimate goal? To see her pizzas in stores across the country so that everyone can enjoy them—from seafood lovers to plant-based foodies.Because at D. Lemon’s, it’s not just pizza. It’s joy, flavor, and love… baked right in.
